The nature of South African society and global economics requires proficiency in English. The centre attempts to address this need by offering various courses, including Intensive English for Foreign Language Speakers, English Empowerment and Business Communication.

The Intensive English Programme for Foreign Language Speakers is offered at five levels, ranging from Elementary to Advanced. The intensity of the programme ensures that students are able to communicate and function effectively through the medium of English. The programme is offered full time and part time.
